Expertise
Corporate advisory services
We agree the work with you before starting. The assignment may be a review of a particular issue, help preparing for a transaction, or support over a longer period.
Board and corporate advisory
Support for boards reviewing strategy or restructuring a business. We help identify what needs to change and put the reporting and responsibilities in place to manage it.
Typical work includes strategic and restructuring reviews, board and management structure, internal controls, management reporting, board papers, and coordination with shareholders and professional advisers.
The same work covers commercial planning and positioning, decision frameworks, meeting discipline, advisory board preparation, and the stakeholder briefings and strategic narratives a board needs to explain itself clearly.
Founder and executive support sits here too. Where an owner or chief executive wants regular external judgement, we agree scheduled sessions, commercial prioritisation, and preparation for the decisions and conversations ahead.
A typical starting point: Review the decisions facing the board and whether it has the information it needs.
Financing and transaction preparation
We work with management to prepare the business case and financial information for a proposed funding round, acquisition or sale. The aim is to give funders and professional advisers the material they need to assess the business.
Typical work includes information memoranda, pitch decks, business plans, data room preparation, sale readiness reviews, and developing supporting financial information with the company's management and finance team.
It also covers lender preparation and succession planning: assembling what a bank, funder or incoming owner will ask for, testing the commercial story against it, and closing the gaps before the business is put in front of anyone.
A typical starting point: Review the existing material, identify information gaps, and agree a preparation programme with clear responsibilities.
Our role is preparation and commercial support. Tudorvale Advisory does not arrange investments or provide regulated investment advice. Legal, tax, accounting, and regulated transaction advice remain with appropriately qualified or authorised professionals.
IT systems and digital transformation
Advice and practical support for businesses reviewing their technology or changing how they work. Andrew helps assess existing systems, choose suitable platforms and suppliers, and plan and oversee implementation.
Work includes IT infrastructure and network reviews, Microsoft 365 and cloud strategy, CRM and workflow design, management reporting, automation, supplier and platform assessment, business continuity, cyber and operational resilience reviews, and technology roadmap development.
We begin with how people use the systems, where problems occur and what the business needs. The result is a prioritised plan for improvements, with responsibilities and costs to consider.
A typical starting point: Review how the business actually runs on its current systems, then set the priorities and sequence for changing them.
We agree the delivery arrangements with you. Implementation may involve Andrew, Tudorvale's technology services or your existing suppliers, depending on the assignment.
Business improvement and venture development
Help with improving business performance or setting up a new operation. This can involve reviewing costs and working practices, developing a business plan, or coordinating work with local advisers overseas.
Typical work includes operational and cost reviews, improvement programmes, subsidiary structure, business planning, technology commercialisation planning, CSR reporting, and coordination with local professionals and project stakeholders.
Overseas venture work covers company formation, constitutional documents, appointing local professional advisers, and the practical sequence a project has to follow before it can start trading.
A typical starting point: Review the business plan and identify what needs to happen before the project can proceed.

Who this suits
Businesses past the idea stage
The work suits owner-managed and family businesses preparing for growth, succession or sale; growth companies with commercial traction that now need structure and credibility; and boards that want stronger reporting and clearer decisions.
It also suits businesses whose systems no longer match how they operate, and project sponsors setting up a new venture or an operation in another country.
It is less likely to suit a speculative idea with no trading activity behind it, or anyone looking for regulated investment advice. Where that is what you need, we will say so and point you to an appropriately authorised professional.
